Compass paintings (2013)

Oil on canvas, each 145 x 130cm

I’m fascinated by systems in geometry, language, signs, and diagrams. In these three paintings I freely applied elements of it to my canvases – using brushes and compasses. They are arranged to generate a visual life of their own.
